Orbit Blade

A fleet left port and never came back. Its guiding star went dark, and its ships found five ways to keep going. TEMPEST is the sixth: recovered, rebuilt, launched again.

ORBIT BLADE is a space action roguelike. Your guns fire on their own and the fighting never pauses between waves. You handle movement, skill aim and card picks.

Runs of up to 35 minutes, five acts

Each act is an enemy tide and a boss. After acts one to four you return to the harbor: time stops, you repair, spin the black-market slot machine, buy from the shelf, then dive again. Kill the act-five boss and the run is won.

Five sectors, five factions

Every run drops you into a random sector and one faction for the whole run: a graveyard fleet of bones, a forge that burns and detonates, a choir that fires on a shared beat, a rift that marks its landing spot then jumps to your flank, a hive that gets faster and meaner the more of its kind are alive. 88 enemy types, 14 bosses. Shoot a boss's turrets off and its dropped guns are yours; overheat its armour and it stops firing.

Two hulls, two ways to fight

TEMPEST fights with lightning, and when two of its skills meet on the field a third effect appears. WRAITH works with time, gravity, quantum effects and annihilation. Each hull has 6 active skills and 2 ultimates, all available from the start.

Builds change shape

At a set level each active skill takes a protocol, and the protocol decides what it grows into. 21 base weapons; once per run one of them super-evolves into a new form, and with the right recipe it takes a cross-system form.

The field changes

Meteor tides, radiation fog, gravity wells, wreck shallows, crystal gardens and ion currents each bring their own rules. Kill fast enough and you wake the hive: a full swarm tide comes for you.

Progress between runs

Earn starlight and light up the star map: new weapons, 16 ship protocols, the harbor forge, danger levels 1–7.

Online co-op for 1–4

Invite friends through a Steam lobby, or join with a four-digit room code or over LAN. Up to four hulls in the same sector.

Full controller support and rebindable keys. Simplified Chinese and English.
