Dagger Woods VR is a psychological thriller escape room inspired by true events and folklore of Nova Scotia, Canada. Combining escape-room-style puzzles, atmospheric exploration, and branching narrative, the game invites players to confront supernatural forces, unravel mysteries, and make decisions with lasting consequences.

Set in the snow-laden Dagger Woods in 1960s Nova Scotia, your three children disappear without a trace. Faced with suspicion and judgment from others, you step into the mind of Maggie Carmichael to refuse to accept the blame. Driven by desperation, you venture into the haunted depths of Dagger Woods to find your kids and find your truth.

As you search for clues, you feel as if you are being watched from the shadows by an entity lurking in the dark, which you know is there but you cannot see, known as the Hidey-Hinder. You have to step into the shadows and uncover what lies hidden, and search for the line between nightmare and reality.

Dagger Woods VR is inspired by true stories of Mary-Ellen MacDonald - the fire spook of Caledonia Mills, NS, in 1922; Maggie Carmichael - the haunting of Cape John, NS, in 1887; and more mysteries from Dagger Woods, NS.
