Meow Legion

Build a legion with claws, courage, and a surprising amount of firepower. Meow Legion is a top-down roguelite shooter where you command a growing cat army against waves of mice. Fight for your squad, combine its strengths, and turn the cards you earn into a better starting point for your next run.

Command your cat army

Stay in the action: aim your shots, dodge incoming attacks, and collect the pickups scattered across the battlefield. Your cats fight alongside you, but you decide when to push forward and when to recall the legion. Bring them back around your commander to regroup, gather pickups, and face the next threat together. A well-timed recall can keep a scattered squad fighting as one.

Recruit. Merge. Overwhelm.

Recruit from ten types of cats, each with its own weapons and role. Combine close-range fighters with ranged support to build a squad whose strengths work together. Find three matching recruits and merge them into one stronger fighter with a higher star level. Choose between adding another ally and making the cats you already have more powerful as the waves grow tougher.

Make every run count

A run's end brings a Meow Card for a cat from your squad, with randomized attribute bonuses. Compare the cards you own and equip your favorites before battle. Each cat type can carry one Meow Card into a run, giving your next squad a different set of strengths. Even a defeat can leave you with a new possibility to try.

Forge your next advantage

Give a promising Meow Card another level by sacrificing two other cards for the same cat. Keep its existing bonuses, then choose the added bonus from the options offered. Forging consumes the ingredients, so decide which cards to spend and which to save. Equip the result, recruit your next legion, and put that new advantage to work.
