Twenty years later, he now lives in the town of Matador. He carries deep wounds from his father and has lived a life full of mistakes and regrets. He spends his days devoid of true fulfillment, in a world that has fallen apart around him.One day, he receives a letter from his mother. His father is sick and will likely pass away soon. Griffin is conflicted... should he go home? The railroads aren't what they used to be... and the journey will be long. Ultimately, he decides to embark on a perilous adventure back to his home country. He will have to use every skill and tool available to him to make it back in time. Each chapter will test his character as he reflects upon his life and his past choices. Make new friends and reunite with old ones.
