Haunted Shift

Haunted Shift is a narrative horror game where you work as a security guard performing your duties at a facility. However, not everything during your shift can be logically explained. Survive six days at the facility by making good decisions!

Game Description

Security guard Matt is transferred to protect the FORCE mine in Poland that's being shut down by the government. While performing his duties, he realizes that not everything is as it should be.

As Matt, you patrol the area, secure the facility, and perform routine security guard tasks. However, during this process, our protagonist realizes that not everything in Slavic mythology is made up. Sometimes you have to solve the mysteries and investigate by yourself.

Gameplay

The game features single-player gameplay in FPP mode. Although rather than holding your hand to let figure things out for yourself, we added notes to more or less guide player general direction. It includes a simple inventory system, task journal, psyche level, shooting mechanics, and much more. Interact with various objects using collected items.

The key is surviving the night to be able to play the next one with the next day of the story. Control your mental state and perform your work duties to complete the game.

Fans of puzzles, Easter eggs, old-school shooters, and horror games inspired by the 1990s and early 2000s with a modern twist, will find plenty to enjoy. Achievement hunters will also have something to look forward to.

Game Features

Graphics: The game has been in development for many months using original models and map layout. A lot of textures are made by mirror-less camera. Enhanced with graphics reminiscent of the transition between 5th and 6th generation consoles.

Gameplay: First-person perspective gameplay that allows for deep immersion to better experience the horror genre. Game subtly shifts between days, to avoid boredom.

Sound Design: Subtle sounds that help you get into the atmosphere of the gameplay.

Horror: Good horror requires proper tension maintenance throughout its duration. We've limited the use of primitive jump scares to a minimum. Random events add variety and make each playthrough a little different.
