ABOUT THIS GAME

YOU WERE NEVER MEANT TO LEAVE.

You are Subject 17.

Once a prisoner used as part of an experimental program operated by the Halden Group, you find yourself caught in the remains of something that was never meant to be uncovered.

Beyond the abandoned grounds of Hare House lies a sealed underground facility filled with forgotten experiments, decaying infrastructure, and evidence of a program that continued long after it should have ended.

Something survived down there.

And so did The Hare.

Descend into the facility, uncover what happened, and find a way out before you become another experiment that never leaves.

SURVIVE THE HARE

The Hare cannot simply be fought like an ordinary enemy.

He searches, stalks, and reacts to the environment around you. Break line of sight, hide, create distractions, use the environment, or spend precious resources to temporarily stagger him when escape is your only option.

Sometimes the best decision is to fight.

Most of the time, it is to run.

SCAVENGE. ADAPT. SURVIVE.

Resources are limited.

Search abandoned rooms, laboratories, maintenance areas, storage facilities, and forgotten sections of the complex for ammunition, medical supplies, tools, keys, documents, and anything else that may keep you alive.

Your inventory space is limited, forcing you to decide what is worth carrying and what gets left behind.

Weapons are not an unlimited solution. Ammunition is scarce, and every shot is a resource that may be more valuable later.

MORE THAN ONE THING IS HUNTING YOU

The Hare is not the only result of what happened beneath the facility.

Exposure to a mysterious contaminant has left behind Carriers—infected remnants of the Halden Group's experiments that still wander the complex.

Unlike The Hare, Carriers can be killed.

Whether spending the ammunition is worth it is another question.

PHYSICAL SURVIVAL HORROR

Hare House is built around an interactive world.

Pick up and manipulate objects, move obstacles, carry equipment, throw items, search environments, activate machinery, and physically interact with the facility around you.

Puzzles range from electrical systems and machinery to environmental problems requiring you to transport objects, restore power, locate missing components, and understand how abandoned systems function.

Objects can also become tools for survival—blocking paths, creating noise, distracting threats, or buying yourself a few more seconds to escape.

MOVE LIKE YOU'RE REALLY THERE

Explore through a true first-person, full-body movement system designed to make navigating the environment part of survival.

Run, vault, climb, swim, crawl, squeeze through confined spaces, and navigate environments that are not always designed to let you leave easily.

Your body exists within the world.

So does everything trying to catch it.

DESCEND INTO THE FACILITY

Hare House extends far beneath what can be seen from the surface.

Travel deeper through interconnected sections of the underground complex as environments become increasingly dangerous and the history of the Halden Group begins to reveal itself.

Find documents, newspapers, records, and remnants of previous experiments to piece together the events surrounding Hare House, the facility beneath it, and the substance responsible for what happened there.

Not every answer will be waiting in plain sight.
