In Indie GameDev Sim, you run a small game development studio from your desktop. Clients send you game ideas and requirements — your job is to turn them into working games using a simple visual editor.

Take an order
Read your client's request and decide what kind of game to build. Some want something cute and peaceful. Others want enemies, traps or a real challenge.

Build the game
Buy new assets from the store and place platforms, characters, enemies, traps, decorations and items into your level. Assign characters different roles and combine simple pre-made behaviors to create something that fits the brief.

Play your own creation
Switch instantly from the editor into Play Mode and actually play the game you just made. Test the level, find problems and go back to the editor if something needs changing.

Ship it and get paid
Build the finished game, send it to your client and see what they think. Clients judge your work based on what you created — including how well you followed their request.

Earn money, expand your asset library and take on new projects as your tiny indie studio grows.
