Echophobia is not a grim, slow-paced horror game. It is a chaotic, laugh-out-loud 1v3 multiplayer party game inspired by the classic childhood game of "Blind Man's Buff".

One player becomes the blind, overpowered Hunter who can only see the world when sound is made. The other three are Runners trapped in complete darkness, trying to power the escape gates, survive, andkeep their friends from giggling into the microphone!

Nobody likes sitting on a boring spectator screen waiting for the round to end. In Echophobia, getting caught twice transforms you into a wandering Echo and the real mind games begin!

Stay in the Action: As an Echo, you are dead but far from powerless. Roam freely, scout the map, and whisper intel to your surviving friends about the Hunter’s whereabouts and battery locations.

Proximity Whispers: You are invisible to your friends and they can only hear your voice when you fly close to them.

The Double-Edged Sword: Here’s the catch, the Hunter can see your Echo from anywhere on the map! If you hover around your friends to give info, the Hunter will notice where you're gathering and hunt them down!
