Rotary Knights is a turn-based WWI pilot-life RPG. Join the Royal Flying Corps in 1914, when a fragile machine and the people who maintain it are your link to the war above the Western Front. Your career unfolds through tactical air battles and choices at the aerodrome.

Plot Your Next Pass

Altitude, heading, and firing angles decide how you approach an opponent. Choose a flight path, inspect its route, and commit when you are ready. Every shot spends ammunition. Decide when to press the attack and when to bring your pilot home.

Choose the Sortie

Review the mission and its route before takeoff. Your fuel must cover the work over the front and the journey home, while enemy contacts and ground threats can change the cost of pressing on. Fighter, Reconnaissance, and Bomber service give your flights different purposes.

Build a Career at the Aerodrome

Return to a squadron with its own needs and personalities. Repair your aircraft, choose equipment, and invest in training before the next mission. Wounds and stress affect the pilot who flies tomorrow; conversations and shared service give names to the people beside you.

Painted scenes and graphical career panels accompany the squadron record. You can also choose the Classic text presentation, with the same missions and combat rules.

Create a pilot through the guided opening or choose a Fighter, Reconnaissance, or Bomber Quick Start. The demo also includes Flight School, 1914 Quick Dogfights and a hunting pair, the three-battle Black Falcon Gauntlet, and a separate 1917 Sopwith Camel-versus-Albatros D.III duel.

The demo covers the opening career and those exhibition battles. Its career aircraft, postings, and training options are limited to that tour.

The Wider War in Development

The full game is being built around a six-act career from 1914 to the Armistice, with 350+ narrative events, 43+ authored missions, 23 flyable Allied aircraft, and 39 aircraft types to encounter. Seven aerodromes and three specializations support the wider career. Standard mode offers manual saving and loading; Ironman mode makes death irreversible.
