Bauble

Bauble is an action-stealth roguelite about newly-sentient creatures investigating the sudden collapse of their ecosystem. Explore the world of Bauble, from meadows inhabited by friendly creatures to territories prowled by monsters. Sneak and fight your way through expeditions, learning about your planet from wizened creatures, clues in the environment, and patterns you notice over time.

Gameplay

You play as a simple creature who must use its skillset creatively. Your goal is to get to the exit of each territory unscathed, by any means. Hop across gaps or dodge enemy projectiles; crawl through a bush or distract patrolling enemies; lure a creature into an ambush or attack a whole group with a battle cry. There's no single solution for escaping a territory.

Collect Baubles along the way: creative energy manifested physically in pink orbs. As sentience emerges across this young planet, these orbs have become the fascination of many creatures.

In the Bauble Demo, hop, swipe, chirp, screech, and lob volcanic rock as the Volcano Imp.

Strategy

The upgrades you collect from Baubles are called Ideas. They represent your creature gaining awareness of themselves and the world around them. The ideas you choose shape how your creature thinks, survives, and thrives.

Your creature, the ideas you've picked up along the way, and your own style determine how you survive each expedition.
