Cycle of Echoes

Cycle of Echoes is a sci-fi action RPG that combines top-down combat with select third-person encounters.
Step into a frontier of abandoned stations, hostile worlds, lost cities, alien structures, and dangerous strongholds as you uncover the remnants of a forgotten past.

Upgrade your exosuit, shape your build through weapons, gear, and abilities, and fight your way through mercenaries, war machines, monsters, and powerful bosses. Along the way, you will meet allies, companions, and survivors caught in a growing conflict that reaches far beyond a single world.

A Forgotten Universe

Travel across a sci-fi frontier filled with derelict stations, asteroid bases, hidden camps, cities, ancient pyramids, and places long abandoned. What was left behind was never truly gone. As old threats begin to surface again, you must uncover their origins and stop the cycle from repeating.

Tactical Sci-Fi Combat

Fight from a top-down perspective with full battlefield awareness, then step into closer third-person encounters during key moments. Use movement, positioning, weapons, and abilities to adapt to different enemies and situations. Whether you prefer precision, aggression, or heavy firepower, your approach to combat is your own.

Build your loadout from a wide range of weapons, modular gear, and powerful loot.

Experiment with different combinations, improve your equipment, and create a setup that matches the way you want to play. From fast weapons to heavy firepower, your arsenal changes how every fight feels.

Face Deadly Enemies

Battle hostile mercenaries, alien species, corrupted creatures, machines, and powerful bosses across the campaign.

Each enemy type brings different threats, from aggressive melee attackers to ranged combatants and large-scale boss encounters that demand movement, timing, and adaptation.

A Living Frontier

Discover inhabited cities and thriving settlements across the frontier. Away from the battlefield, everyday life unfolds around you. Wander through bustling districts and experience a different side of the universe.

A Note from the Developer

Hi, I’m Ivan, the solo developer behind Cycle of Echoes.

I’ve always wanted to make a game like this: a sci-fi adventure with a world to explore, a story to uncover, and combat that makes you want to try one more weapon or build. This project is my way of turning that ambition into something you can play.

Cycle of Echoes is still in development, and I’m aiming for a release in 2027.

Feedback, criticism and ideas are welcome. I can’t promise to include every suggestion, but I want to hear what you enjoy, what frustrates you and what you think could be better. My goal is to keep improving the game with each update, with player feedback helping guide that work.
