Deploy alone or with your squad into procedurally generated infestation zones. Fight alien hordes, establish a foothold, and eradicate the Hive before it spreads.

KEEP THE NETWORK ALIVE. KEEP THE SQUAD BREATHING.

The toxic fog limits your visibility and drains your RO2 supply. Run out, and hallucinations distort your senses while vital abilities become unavailable.

Expand your generator’s network with connected nodes, creating shielded areas where your squad can refill and regroup. Gather resources, build defenses, and keep the network running as you push deeper into the infestation.

SEARCH FOR THE FISSURES

Locate the fissures sustaining the Hive. Break through the mounds covering their entrances and collapse them with Tectonic Bombs.

Expect resistance. The Hive’s defenders will attack your squad and the infrastructure you depend on.

FINISH THE MISSION

Collapsing the final fissure draws out the Hive Queen. Protect your network while you mark the main Hive for an orbital strike.

Load your recovered equipment and resources into the generator, then defend it until launch. Its cargo returns to the ship—but its departure shuts down your lifeline.

Hold your ground until the strike arrives.

DEATH IS NOT THE END

Revive downed teammates or return from orbit in a replacement clone. The squad shares a limited supply of reinforcements, and reinsertion ends once the strike beacon is armed.

After the operation, new bodies await aboard the ship.

The bodies may change. The mission remains.
