Lumenfall

You are a fading ember, descending a collapsing tower. Fight through shadow creatures, combine evolving weapons and passives, and survive long enough to face the Umbral Heart. Death ends your run, but Skill Points, hero unlocks, mastery, and Forge upgrades carry into the next descent.

Build a run that is yours

14 heroes with distinct abilities, skill paths, and mastery, including the Beastcaller and her spirit wolf, and the Lumen Paladin, who raises a sanctuary of light.
31 weapons and 62 evolution branches. Max a weapon, pair it with the right passive, and choose its evolved form. Combine lightning, meteors, orbiting blades, poison clouds, runes, hunting spears, and more.
15 passives and 22 relics reshape your build. Fill the Overcharge meter with kills to unleash a nova.
Choose your route on a branching map of fights, elites, caches, and twenty events, and spend shards at post-boss Supply Caches.

Plan it, then prove it

The Hero builder plans a run before you take it: pick order, level caps, the evolution plan, and an estimated DPS. Share builds with a code.
Make a build active, and every level-up and Supply Cache marks the picks that fit it.
Test it in the Training range: a damage meter tracks total, average, and recent DPS, and damage on the boss dummy. The Loadout lab switches weapons between their evolutions so you can compare them, then saves the loadout as a build.

Go beyond the final boss

Descend through six tower regions, past five wardens, and defeat the three-phase Umbral Heart at depth 30. Then enter repeating Endless expeditions through the Foundry, Starfall Reach, Briar Cathedral, Sunken Archive, the Thunderhead, and the Glass Wastes. Six guardians bring new attack patterns, regional enemies, and hazards as the challenge grows.

Make every descent different

Room twists bring swarms, titans, elite patrols, frenzied enemies, and Gold Rush rewards.
Affixed elites demand different tactics: Shielded, Volatile, Vampiric, Frostbound, Summoner, Splitting, Blinking, and Searing.
12 optional Trials add run curses with stacking reward multipliers.
Six difficulty tiers offer a progression from Normal to Ascended.

Keep something from every run

Complete a 101-contract Challenge Board, earn trophies, and raise each hero's mastery.
Spend banked shards on eight ranked Ember Forge upgrades, including level-up rerolls.
Take on the seeded Daily Descent with a featured hero, daily and weekly leaderboards, and streak rewards.
Race the Gauntlet: twelve bosses, one life, against the clock.
Fill the Codex with every foe, warden, and guardian you meet, and review each run in its report.

Descend together

Host an online co-op room for up to four players and share its code. Fill empty seats with AI companions, vote on your route together, and fight a shared horde. Each player builds their own hero, and surviving teammates can revive fallen allies.

Choose your controls

Play with mouse and keyboard or a gamepad. Controller support includes analog movement, dash and ability buttons, and a virtual cursor for menus.
