It’s been over 20 years since the fearsome demon lord invaded the realm. Now it’s time to take it back.

You write the tactics. Your party fights. Give each adventurer an ordered list of rules (when, at whom, and with what) and watch them carry it out in real time. Hundreds of conditions are learned from tacticians across the world: heal an ally under 50% HP, taunt any enemy with over 10,000 HP, strike whatever is weak to blunt damage, purify the undead.

Adventurers age. The village remains. Every recruit is in their prime for a few short years, then retires. Each trip home raises your village’s level; new recruits join at that level, and each class banks skill points between generations. Veterans who leave the party with enough merit earn their class a medal, a permanent bonus for everyone who comes after them.

25 classes. Warriors, Knights, Archers, Thieves, Farmers, Martial Artists, White and Black Mages to begin with, and many more to unlock through quests, escorts and trials across the land.

Hunt the rare. Around 80 subjugation quests send you after rare monsters, each with its own way of appearing: only in a certain month, only at dawn, only after you’ve driven out twenty of their kin. Bring them down for legendary weapons and accessories.

A world with its own calendar. Time passes outside the villages: six months to a year, each with its own element, and some monsters wait for their season.

Craft, upgrade, cultivate. Turn monster materials into equipment at the workshop; raise legendary weapons through their grades; unlock richer ore as your mine grows; grow stronger crops on the village farm; fit each adventurer with a soul that changes how they move and fight.
